Born the daughter of a performing musician, Kristen has been immersed in every kind of music imaginable for as long as she can remember. From that array of knowledge and experience, she developed a style all her own, not to mention a song repertoire that is impressive by any measure.

In 2002, Kristen packed her bags and made the move from Michigan to Nashville, a city known for its high musical standards and competitive talent pool. It's a tough place for newcomers, but it wasn’t long before she was fully embraced by the town’s tight-knit musical community, singing demos for top publishers and hit songwriters, as well as performing alongside some of Nashville’s finest musicians.
